Type Anatomy Definitions 

1. Cap Height 
2. X- Height
3. Baseline
4. Counter- An area fully or partially enclosed by a bowl or a cross bar of a letterform.
5. Terminal- The end of any stem or stroke of a letterform that does not terminate with a serif
6. Stem- The principle vertical or oblique element(s) of a letterform. 
7. Leg- A projecting diagonal stem or stroke of a letterform extending downward.
8. Apex- The outer point where two diagonal stems or stokes meet.
9. Aperture- The rounded, partially enclosed negative space in a letterform. 
10. Ascender- The part of a lowercase that extends above the body of the letterform. 
11. Spine- The diagonal portion or main curve an S.
12. Crotch- The point where two strokes or stems at a letterform meet at an angel.
13. Dot- A punctuation glyph in the form of a typographic dot.
14. Shoulder- The portion of a curved stroke projecting from a stem of a letterform connecting two vertical strokes or stems. 
15. Overshoot- The rounded or pointed feature of a letterform which extends slightly over the baseline or x-height.
16. Bowl - A curved stem or stroke of a letterform that encloses a counter.
17. Joint- The angel formed in a letterform where two strokes meet or intersect.
18. Arm- A projecting horizontal or upward diagonal stem or stroke of a letterform not enclosed within a character.  
19. Cross Bar- A horizontal element connecting two vertical or diagonal stems or strokes of a letterform, or crossing a stem or a stroke of a letterform.

20. Vertex- The lower point of a letterform where stems of a character meet to form a junction with an angel of less than ninety degrees.

Sender: The type company who is creating the fonts. In this case, I have chosen Font Fish.

Message: Use our Fonts! We have thousands of amazing fonts you can't find anywhere else. We have quality fonts that will take your work to the next level. Its worth it to get a font from us rather than download a free font somewhere else.

Audience: Professional designers that want quality type.

Objective: Fun, promotional, and informative. We want people to like out product and continuously come back to purchase more quality fonts. If someone likes our site and fonts they will recommend others to use it as well.

Response: We want people to promote Font Fish with a positive response.

Specifications: The final poster size will be 11x17, in either a vertical and or horizontal format, and will be both printed and promoted online.

Budget: 30 hours @ $30 per hour = $900
